Jacob Anderskov is currently the most talented Danish jazz musician. Pianist, composer and leader of various groups, he won Danish Jazz Music Award in various categories several times. The critics describe his music as „an ancient Nordic fairytale flower slowly opening and changing colours“. His new project represents a mix of classical music and jazz, with the presence of three string players and a percussionist. Last year, he received the award of the Danish jazz community for the best composer, while the album with strings was nominated for the best album of 2013.
