Wolfgang Pusching (saxophones, Austria), John Sass (tuba, USA) and Mamadou Diabate (balafon, Burkina Faso) are blending distant cultures of Europe, America and Africa in creation of original musical cosmos, beyong boundaries of style. Their music is characterized by vibrating saxophone melodies, tuba’s earthy groove and exotic rhythms of balafon, with the roots in old Sambla songs, rhytms and dances of Burkina Faso. Their encounter is an expression of vitality, communication, individuality and togetherness – a manifestation of pure musicality of three great masters of their craft.
