Concert: Saturday | 25. October 2014. 9:00 PM Belgrade Youth Centre, Main Hall
This program presents two aspects of the artistic work of our acclaimed composer and jazz musician. In the first part, Vasil Hadžimanov will perform compositions for the acoustic jazz trio, material previously released on the album El Raval. In the second part of the program, electric group Vasil Hadžimanov Band will perform. Special guest of both acoustic and electic program will be alto saxophone player David Binney, one of the most distinguished American jazz artists, who are in their prime, with whom Vasil worked while he was living in the United States. The concert will be recorded, as Hadžimanov plans to include a part of this recording for his upcoming live album.
