The project 1/1 brings together two cult figures in contemporary music. Norwegian trumpet player Niels Petter Molvaer is one of the pioneers of future jazz, by promoting a merge between jazz and rock with electronic music and hip-hop. Because of that, as well as the muted trumpet sound and sparse playing, Molvaer is the real successor of Miles’s musical aspirations.
