Concert: Friday | 24. October 2014. 9:00 PM Belgrade Youth Centre, Main Hall
Children of the Light Trio is a collaboration of today’s great jazz stars: pianist Danilo Perez, bass player Jon Patitucci and drummer Brian Blade are bringing together their great knowledge, musicality, virtuosity and insatiable creative energy in this group. Since 2000, these eminent musicians have been members of Wayne Shorter Quartet, considered by many the most creative jazz group today, which opened Belgrade Jazz Festival in 2010. This summer, they decided to present to the world the music performed by piano trio, containing original compositions by all three members, as well as inspiring arrangements of music of their great leader. One of the biggest jazz events of the season!
